Get excited! One of the most popular and versatile racket collections this sport has seen has just received an update! Here’s a first look on this update from someone who has hit a bit with these. And don’t worry, you won’t be waiting too long for these as they will be available to order beginning of December!
I must preface this blog and say I may have a slightly biased opinion since I have been using one form or another of the Pure Drive since 2001, so with that being said, I was insanely excited for this update! And I can say with confidence, if you love the Pure Drive series, you should enjoy this update!
Honestly, have you ever played around with different types of string? No? Then it’s about time to do so during this winter’s indoor season. There are a variety of strings you can choose from. It has always been important to me to be up to date on what’s out there, so let’s just take a closer look on what you can find!
The indoor season just started in a lot of European countries and therefore I would like to focus a little bit on the “going indoors” topic. The article focuses on footwear as I believe you can do a lot of good and bad by choosing the “right” or “not so right” products.
If you are mostly playing on carpet without granulate material on the surface, you should be looking for a pair of shoes with a flat outsole. This will help you avoid getting stuck or even injured. If you are playing in indoor facilities with carpet and granulate material, you can use tennis shoes with regular outsoles. It may be better to use hard court outsoles rather than clay court outsoles that can sometimes be too sticky and aggressive. However, please make sure to use tennis shoes that still have a profile and are not completely worn off from playing them all summer! From time to time, it does make sense to invest in your footwear for the winter season.
