Our parent company, Tennis Warehouse, celebrates its 30th anniversary!

Tennis Warehouse always had a passion for tennis gear. We pride ourselves on our knowledge, research and honest reviews of the products they offer so you can get the right gear for your game. Over the years, Tennis Warehouse has expanded from a small shop on the central coast of California to servicing tennis players worldwide with locations in the United States, Europe and Australia.

Our mission remains the same: to provide players with a one-stop-shop for all things tennis.

Milestones

1992

Tennis Warehouse was founded by Drew Munster and Mark Sczbecki in San Luis Obispo, California.

1995

The company went from a brick and mortar retail store to an online business and launched their website in 1995, offering tennis products to players throughout the United States. In 1998, full online ordering became available.

1999

Drew and Mark wanted to provide online customers with the best possible experience and the right gear for their game. This meant product knowledge. In 1999 the Tennis Warehouse playtesting crew was born.

2000

Tennis Warehouse tries to provide as many resources as possible, but sometimes you just need to get the racket in your hand. They then decided to create the first ever mail order Demo Program and made trying rackets easier for players everywhere across the USA.

2002

As soon as Tennis Warehouse started putting out online reviews, people started calling in with more technical questions. They realized they needed to find a way to help answer them. Drew and Mark thought a message board was a great way to create a resource for players around the world. They called it Talk Tennis.

2007

To take geeking out on product to a whole new level, they brought in a physicist from the USRSA and launched Tennis Warehouse University.

2009

The company expanded into Europe and opened Tennis Warehouse Europe in Schutterwald, Germany to better serve tennis players around the world.

2014

In 2014, Tennis Warehouse partnered with Tennis Only and expanded into Australia, establishing locations on every continent where a grand slam is played.

2019

Tennis Warehouse launched a podcast, Talk Tennis, giving them one more place to chat all things tennis.

    I started at TW in 2003 as the web editor and have been testing rackets, strings, shoes, and everything else tennis ever since. I play an all-court game and am pretty partial to hitting drop shots.

  • Brittany

    I have worked at Tennis Warehouse for 12 years and played tennis for 30 years. I consider myself an aggressive baseliner who loves to take the ball early whenever I can. I have a pretty flat forehand and a two-handed backhand (that I consider to be my weapon)!

    I've been with Tennis Warehouse for the past 17 years. On the court, I like to attack and be aggressive with my forehand and although I am most comfortable at the baseline, over the years, I have learned to approach the net every now and then.

    I've been playing tennis forever! And have always worked in the tennis world but landed at TW about 10 years ago and the rest is history! I love playing go big or go home tennis and swinging the hefty frames around here, life is too short to not love every minute on the court!

    I started working at TW in the summer of 2007. When I am on the court, I like to implement an all-court game, and I have always strived to be well-rounded and develop the proper technique. My forehand has always been my main weapon, but I am proud that I have improved my serve over the years.

    I fell in love with tennis after picking up the sport in high school. I started shopping at Tennis Warehouse way back then, and I somehow was lucky enough to join the team here!

    After being fortunate enough to be a part of T-dub for almost 15 years now, I am still the same lefty, 5.0 all-court player, with my best weapon being consistency & directional changes of the ball.

    Tennis has been my life since I started out when I was 3 on the red clay courts of Europe and I have not turned back ever since! I am beyond thankful for it; it even brought me to Tennis Warehouse Europe, and now TW. PS. 1-handed-backhands are more fun, try one!

    I started in 2020, so I'm the new kid on the block in the Web Content department. The team is light-hearted, hard-working, and masters of their craft. On the court, I look to set up my forehand and stay aggressive. My patience has improved with age, but I do prefer to control the point.

    After a baseball-ending injury at age 14, I've developed a strong passion for tennis, and have been fortunate enough to be involved in multiple roles including playing, coaching and now product-testing and web-editing for Team TW.

    I have been playing tennis for over 15 years. I started with a sport-study in France for 4 years before devoting myself to my studies. I never stopped my passion for tennis and more particularly in competition. I am passionate about all the news surrounding tennis, from the racket to the shoes and the latest tour results. I am happy to be part of the Tennis Warehouse family and especially in the Playtest team.

    I started playing tennis at the age of 6 and always dreamed of combining the sport I love with my job. Tennis Warehouse Europe offered me this opportunity as a student and beyond. It’s great being surrounded by colleagues who share the same passion.

    When I started playing tennis at the age of 5, I never imagined that the sport would open up so many opportunities for me. The sport led me to TWE, where my passion accompanies me every day in my job.

    When my father took me to the Clay Court for the first time at the age of 3, I fell in love with the sport. After a year of college tennis in the US, I am now able to study with Tennis Warehouse Europe. At TWE I have the opportunity to combine the sport with my job and my studies.

    I have always been a tennis fan, but I started playing it quite late, around the age of 15. Since then I've never stopped and I have been lucky enough to make it my job. Working for Tennis Warehouse Europe is one of those things that you can only imagine as a kid and I was really lucky to make it a reality.

    Exactly 30 years ago my father put my first tennis racket in my hand and the only idea I had in mind at that time was to imitate my idol Andre Agassi (minus the wig). Even though my professional career on the court hasn't met with the same success, my passion and connection to this sport have always remained strong. Today, I feel lucky that my job is so tightly connected to tennis at TWE.

    I started playing tennis on clay courts at the age of 5 and from that moment on I fell in love with the sport. After high school I went to the US to play college tennis and always knew that I wanted to work in the tennis industry. I feel very fortunate to be a part of the TW family for almost 10 years now.

    I started playing tennis when I was 3 years old, or more accurately I was trying to hit flies with my racket while my parents played tennis. Tennis is my passion and I love to grind on clay and make my opponent run with my forehand. At TWE I combine my passion with my job.
